Ways to Help When All Around Us Things are Changing
Change takes so many forms. Maybe you have been supporting a loved one for some time. Perhaps you are now finding yourself supporting someone you love whose life has suddenly changed completely. Perhaps it is you who has been given a life-limiting prognosis. Maybe you are facing starting life all over again as a relationship ends.
My hope is that this book will help you find a place of calm in the midst of things. I hope whether you are a family member, a friend, a work colleague, a health professional, doula, neighbour, or the person going through changes themselves, that you might find things in these pages to help you navigate it with compassion and a deeper understanding of the things that make the connections to those we love so treasured and sacred.
I have created this book as something that you can dip in and out of as you need to. There is no need to start at the beginning and read page by page to the end. You can swoop and dive like a bird on the wing.
You will see throughout the book that I am inspired by differing forms of spirituality, contemporary and ancient thinkers, and by the seasons and cycles of Nature and life itself.
